IS YOUR FIRST SAILING EXPERIENCE?

If a sailing cruise has always been your dream, it is time to open the drawer and make this wish come true! It will be an experience that will surprise you.

A sailing holiday is within everyone’s reach, just a little adventure spirit and adaptability.

For a week the boat will be our home with all its comforts: shower, hot water, oven, refrigerator and so on.

It’s time to get involved!

The necessary premise is that we all suffer from “seasickness”, what sets us apart is our level of endurance.

This level of endurance needs training without forgetting that “seasickness” has a strong psychological component.

In any case, ours will always be safe navigation and we will avoid facing difficult situations.

If you have the feeling of being able to suffer from seasickness, know that there are many remedies on the market, but the best remedy is to take an active part in life on board!

Of course!

In this case, you have the option of booking an exclusive cabin for yourself or sharing it with another crew member.

On the boat, great friendships were born and formed also thanks to the fact that on board, for obvious reasons of space, we live in close contact and we all collaborate together in the management of the cruise.

The skipper is the one who directs the maneuvers and manages every aspect on board.

Having said that, the entire crew by mutual agreement will be able to actively collaborate: nothing demanding, if desired everyone can participate according to their possibilities and attitudes.

There are no passengers on the boat, only active members of a crew!

Absolutely not!

It is not necessary to have already been on a boat, what is important is to be endowed with a spirit of adventure and adaptability.

The key thing is to relax and enjoy the most wonderful and unique emotions that only a sailing experience can give!

Even if you don’t want to, in a week of sailing vacation you always learn many things.

The skipper is also a sailing instructor and will be happy to answer any questions and, where possible, teach those who will express their desire to learn the first concepts of wonderful sailing.

The same skipper will be able to see in you a reliable and interested figure and consequently, depending on your aptitudes, delegate you small or large tasks.

LIFE ON BOARD

It depends on many factors: weather, crew and navigation itinerary.

Generally long sailing is avoided and the same are not however demanding as the islands we will visit are close to each other.

In any case, each choice will be shared by the skipper with the whole crew to satisfy everyone’s wishes as much as possible and to live together a unique experience of sailing, sea and lots of relaxation!

The sailing holiday is a set of unique emotions and among these surely what makes it unforgettable is the experience of sleeping on board, moored in a beautiful bay (cove) immersed in nature under starry skies that you can see only at sea.

Seeing is believing!

The skipper is also a great lover of cooking and, once navigation is over, he will be able to cheer the whole crew with the preparation of lunches and dinners worthy of the Michelin Guide!

Of course, help is always welcome, on board we will be like a family and the crew actively takes part in the management of the cruise, according to their own attitudes!

Do you want to bring some gastronomic specialties from home? will certainly be appreciated by all.

So if you are going to challenge the skipper in a culinary competition, come forward!

Premising that you will have little time to devote to your mobile phone as it is taken by a wonderful and unique experience of its kind … don’t worry! On board there are several sockets in each cabin and common areas where you can safely charge all your electronic devices.

However, it is important to have a 12 volt mobile phone charger (USB socket or lighter) before departure.

Of course! The boat is equipped with a stereo system with USB port and AUX cable.

However, it is important to use the stereo respecting the quiet of the bays where you are moored so as not to disturb other boats.

However, good music during the magical drink appetizer time is a must!

HOW TO MAKE THE PERFECT SUITCASE

“What is essential is invisible to the eye”

The truth is that you always end up bringing more things than necessary.

It is important to use a soft suitcase (sack style – rigid bags or trolleys are absolutely prohibited on board) and bring only the essentials: comfortable clothes, costumes, beach towel, something to cover yourself in the evening, a small k-way, sunglasses and protective creams.

Few things are needed for a sailing cruise also because most of the time will be spent in costume!

Personally I always recommend a pair of shoes that can be put on and taken off quickly (timberland or superga style) with a clear and not too worked sole: this type of shoe on board will however be used little and only at certain times such as maneuvers or during exciting sailing!

We also strongly recommend the “rock shoes” which can be useful for moorings with land on the ground and for adventurous excursions in the beautiful bays and natural parks that we will be able to visit.

The classic and very comfortable slippers cannot be missing – flip flops!

Incredible, but true: Marine Shampoo!

Among the many new and fantastic experiences that you will try there will be the use of marine shampoo that will give you, every wash, a unique feeling of freedom and freshness and at the same time will give your hair an irresistible charm: try it to believe it!

Marine Shampoo is easily available in all boating stores or, more simply, in the most well-known shop-online platforms.

To sleep it is recommended to use the sheets (single or double) with relative pillowcases (which are supplied) or directly a light sleeping bag if you are particularly cold or you intend to spend the night on the bridge admiring the stars !

As for the towels, we have some on board, but it is always recommended to bring a personal towel and obviously a beach towel for the bathroom.

PARTICIPATION FEE AND EXPENSES

The participation fee for the sailing cruise includes the use of the complete boat with all its equipment, accommodation on board, use of the tender and outboard, skipper, insurance coverage and final cleaning.

The participation fee indicated does not include the trip to / from the port of boarding / landing, the expenses that will be made with the classic “common fund” which at the start of the cruise will be organized between all members of the crew to cover expenses. galley, any ports, entrance tickets to protected natural parks, eventual dinners at the restaurant, refueling of diesel fuel at the end of the cruise and everything that is not expressly indicated in “what does the participation fee include?”.

During the embarkation phase, a “common fund” will be organized between the whole crew to comply with what are the “living” expenses of the galley, any ports and dinners at the restaurant, entrance tickets to the Protected Natural Parks, the supply of diesel to end of cruise and more.

The amount of this “common fund” is obviously variable because it depends on numerous factors and will in any case be established at the beginning of the cruise.
